Bias Radio web app support

Help with browser playback, Home Screen installation and web push notifications.

Install the web app

  • On iPhone, open Bias Radio in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
  • On Android, open it in Chrome, open the browser menu, then tap Install app or Add to Home screen.
  • Open the installed icon for the full app-like experience.

Playback

  • Tap Play once to start; browsers do not allow audio to begin without user interaction.
  • Use Mobile on slower or limited connections.
  • If the audio does not resume after a call, reopen the web app and tap Play.
  • Background playback behaviour can vary between browsers and operating-system versions.

Live DJ notifications

  • On iPhone, web notifications require the PWA to be installed on the Home Screen.
  • Tap Enable live DJ notifications and approve the browser permission.
  • If permission was denied, re-enable it in the operating system or browser settings.
  • Only a live DJ connection triggers an alert.
